I was talking to a granddad that took two of his grandsons and they were there over 3 hours and both children - still were not ready to go!! ... Lots to discuss with your children ... we have a solar powered World ... Lots to see .. At least an hour .. But maybe 5?.... Best wishes - Brian one of the wildlife haven volunteers

Well - We close at the end of October - But - We all volunteers - mostly 'retired' and we work on the project all thru the year so we will be on site - so just contact us via the website and we will open up for you, show you around, give you a cup of tea/coffee ... Can't promise the weather though ...
How much is the price for adults and do you do concessions for disabled people and their support workers?
答:
We charge £2 for children, £3 for concessions, £4 for adults and £10 for a family of 5 ... All prices and opening days on our website - drop-down box front page LHS ... Best wishes - Brian
You obviously didn't appreciate the very hard work done by the many volunteers. So when you return, why not see Brian and get an escorted trip around to see what you obviously missed. Send Brian a message to arrange??

Thank you Dormouse 3 - It's difficult for people to understand - We are just volunteers ... We brought the land, we have worked it and with the help of many people, individuals, groups and companies we have achieved what we have .... For example the Environment Centre took 19 years to build! The Victorian Aqueducts from Abbott's Ripton were going to be cut up, we saved them. We won the ICI/Dulux UK Environmental Teamwork Award in 1998 and got them shot blasted and painted, but each of the aqueducts took 3 years to install! We are doing it all for people to enjoy .... That's all we want - we are a registered charity and plow everything back..... We want to build better buildings, get rid of the old portable buildings ... But sadly we are all getting old, our average age is around the 70 mark ... But we like doing things ... we all want a better World - we are just trying to do our bit ... Thank you for your time ....
