The Rum Story is CLOSED for the moment, but our Jefferson's Gift Shop is OPEN. The Rum Story was designed as a wet-weather attraction for the Georgian town of Whitehaven in the North West of England. This attraction depicts the history of Whitehaven and its links with the Caribbean, from where exotic spices, sugar cane and rum was brought in to the harbour to be traded throughout England. You will be taken back in time to an exotic tropical rainforest in the Caribbean and from there the great adventure of Whitehaven's Rum Story will be told.

Sorry taken so long to answer! Don't check TA very often. Plenty of parking in Whitehaven and town not a big one so never far to walk wherever you park....
