Emergency crews late Thursday afternoon were called back to the scene of a fire at the Broken Bow power plant. A city official said hot spots had developed several hours after what was called “a catastrophic failure” which caused several homes and businesses to lose power.

A viewer report that Local4 received indicated that the Broken Bow power plant was on fire and that parts the town no longer had power.
