Kevin Durant wasn’t sold on a Golden State return. According to ESPN, the Suns star told Steph Curry that another Warriors run didn’t “feel right” and that it “wasn’t the time” to pair back up, adding that Durant “was happy in Phoenix and wasn’t looking to play elsewhere.”

The highest-paid player on the payroll, Steph Curry, was asked about the Butler trade after the Warriors’ loss to the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night. Curry revealed that he texted Butler to welcome him to the Warriors, and Butler responded with a “pleasant” text back.
