The Dock restaurant overlooking the St. Croix River in downtown Stillwater is closing later this month. The restaurant announced on its website that "with a heavy heart," its final day of service will be Feb. 23.

The Dock Cafe reopened under new management in 2022 and became the Dock. Meanwhile, in Maple Grove, the restaurant Paulie’s will also close on Feb. 23 at 3 p.m. A press release sent out on Friday announced the restaurant’s closure and special deals.

The Dock restaurant in downtown Stillwater, which overlooks the St. Croix River, will close on Feb. 23, but the owners of the building say a new restaurant should open in the space before summer. Staff at The Dock shared the news of the closing in a post on the restaurant’s website.
