Mark Proksch (What We Do In The Shadows), Julia Duffy (Palm Royale), and Kapil Talwalkar (Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist) have been tapped to join The Burbs cast for Peacock‘s upcoming series adaptation of the 1989 dark comedy movie.

In addition, Nzingha Stewart (“Cross,” “Daisy Jones and the Six”) has boarded the show as an executive producer and will direct the first episode. The new additions join previously announced lead Keke Palmer in the show, which was picked up straight-to-series at Peacock in September 2024.
