Months after voters approved recreational marijuana sales, city leaders approved a measure that would ask voters to repeal the ordinance

Colorado Springs voters will once again decide this spring whether recreational marijuana sales should be permitted in the state’s second-largest city — less than five months after they voted in favor of such sales.

Two residents of Colorado Springs sued the city Friday after City Council voted days earlier to hold a do-over vote in April on a citizens’ initiative, known as Question 300, that authorized sales of recreational marijuana in the city.
