The St. John's Red Storm came into Gampel Pavilion on Friday night and used elite defense to overwhelm the UConn Huskies.

A lingering knee injury has affected UConn point guard Hassan Diarra for the last three weeks. He’s been held out of practices but playing through it in games, and the Huskies have seen the tradeoff.
