Former Ohio State defender Mitchell Melton inked with UVa, the school announced on Tuesday morning. Melton has one year to play with the Hoos and he signed with the Cavaliers as a defensive end.

On Monday evening, Mitchell Melton helped lead Ohio State to its ninth national title. On Tuesday, the fifth-year OSU defensive end transferred to Virginia, per multiple national outlets.
