Britain's Emma Raducanu is out of the Abu Dhabi Open after losing in straight sets to former Wimbledon champion Marketa Vondrousova in the first round.

Emma Raducanu has crashed out of the Abu Dhabi Open in the first round after Marketa Vondrousova beat the British star 6-3 6-4 on Tuesday. The result means Raducanu has suffered back-to-back first-round defeats on the WTA Tour after her early exit at the Singapore Open last week.

Emma Raducanu suffered her third consecutive defeat as she crashed out in the first round of the Abu Dhabi Open. It was a meeting of the Grand Slam champions as the British No. 1 faced 2023 Wimbledon winner Marketa Vondrousova, who is continuing her comeback from injuries.
