The pilot of the passenger plane that hit a military chopper and crashed in the Potomac River this week may have attempted a last second move to evade the collision, NTSB said at a news conference.
The collision in DC involving American Airlines Flight 5342 and an Army Black Hawk helicopter Wednesday has created flight delays for travelers out of Washington DC.
The new detail retreived from the black box suggests the Army helicopter was flying above 200 feet (61 meters), the maximum altitude for the route it was using.
