Costco reportedly plans to bump up most of its employees by at least $1 per hour across the next three years. That means its “top of the scale employees” would go to $30,20 per hour in the first year of the new move, per Reuters. Reuters reported that the “bottom of the scale employees” will also be getting a raise and will be making $20 per hour.

Wholesale retailer Costco told its employees that it would increase pay for most of its hourly store workers to more than $30.

Costco says its new wage hike offers hundreds of thousands of workers pay and benefits that "far outpace others in the retail industry."
