A sixth person died Wednesday from injuries sustained when crates of illegal fireworks ignited during a New Year’s Eve party in a Honolulu neighborhood, setting off a chain of explosions that left more than a dozen people with severe burns.

A sixth person has died following a fireworks explosion in Hawaii. Police say a 30-year-old woman died at the hospital on Wednesday. Three other women, a 3-year-old boy and a man have also died. Five burn patients are still being treated at a Phoenix hospital.
