President Donald Trump wants more cash for the US military, despite his close friend Elon Musk’s plan to cut trillions from the federal budget and also audit the Pentagon. Speaking to Fox News’ Bret Baier in a taped interview aired this morning,

Trump said Musk's unofficial Department of Government Efficiency (Doge) would soon examine spending in the military and the Department of Education, possibly in the next "24 hours". "Let's check the military," he said. "We're going to find billions, hundreds of billions of dollars of fraud and abuse, and the people elected me on that."
