Nico Harrison’s trade of Luka Doncic was a mistake of such epic proportions only conspiracies could explain it for many of the faithful. Brazen miscalculation, if not incompetence, isn’t good enough.

When Brad Townsend asked Doncic what his feelings were towards the Mavericks' highly controversial GM Nico Harrison, the primary initiator of the trade to the chagrin of both Mavericks fans and Doncic's teammates, the soft-spoken Slovenian superstar was honest in his response.

During Luka's introductory press conference on Tuesday, Lakers GM Rob Pelinka mentioned Dallas Mavericks GM Nico Harrison by name, saying he was "instrumental" in making this trade happen. I don't think Pelinka meant this in any sarcastic way, but it's impossible to thank someone you just robbed and not sound a little condescending.
