BEAR SANCTUARY Prishtina is a sanctuary in Kosovo that provides special care to rescued and traumatised brown bears. BEAR SANCTUARY Prishtina is a project by FOUR PAWS International, the global animal welfare organisation for animals under direct human influence, which reveals suffering, rescues animals in need and protects them.

FOUR PAWS have rescued all these bears, and thus, ended this cruel form of brown bear abuse in the country for good.

The Bear Sanctuary is a large place in nature, a twenty-minute drive outside Pristina, the capital of Kosovo. Drive for about twenty to thirty minutes in the direction of Gjilan and follow the signs.
