In these reports, customers have indicated that vehicles operated in specific cold climate areas with high road salt usage may exhibit more-than-normal corrosion to the vehicle's frame.

Mine IS peeling on the doors badly but Toyota had just agreed to repaint on a customer "good will" agreement last month after complaining to the Dealership. Happy to get the repairs done some time in 2024. I can't imagine how busy all the body shops will be repainting white Taco's nationwide!

2023年1月23日 · 2017 Tacoma TRD Offroad I am the second owner, and have had the truck about 3 years now, 155,000 km on it. Lately I have noticed blue smoke from the pipe on cold starts, and on quick acceleration from stop light or slowing down through a construction zone/etc.

2023年12月18日 · I've got a 2007 Tacoma in northern New England, purchased in Florida in 2019. Not garaged. PO was a snowbird, and truck had been undercoated by him. I get it undercoated each year and frame seems to be in great shape. A Toyota dealership recently told me frame is good, doesn't need replacing.

2018年8月17日 · Yeah pretty sure for them to recall an ac blower motor it would have to grenade and kill everyone in the cab. Does everyone remember the Prius brake issues and Toyota/Lexus unintended acceleration (hint they all killed people). Recalls are red marks against a manufacturer and TSB's are fixes for discovered issues after deployment.

June 1, 2017 Toyota has just announced a recall of approximately 32,000 Tacoma pickups from the 2016 and 2017 model years. The recall is limited to trucks equipped with V6 engines. According to Toyota, the crankshaft timing rotor associated with those engines may have been manufactured with too much anti-corrosion coating.
