Doreen Ann Levesque was a 17-year-old resident of New Bedford. On the night of her murder, she had traveled to Fall River to engage in prostitution with another sex worker, "Gail." Witnesses reported seeing Levesque being intoxicated downtown at several establishments and engaging in prostitution on Pleasant Street. [9]
