诺华上海园区的总体规划注重为科研人员设计一个高效方便的工作社区，同时也希望有“家”的感觉；它能满足使用者日常活动——从餐饮到锻炼，同时又创造出温馨的氛围。 通过组织庭院和花园形成一系列公共空间和流通网络。 每一栋独立的建筑都有其专属的庭院，提高环境质量，与其他建筑之间既分又连。 园区的空间组织让使用者在不同庭院间活动，在园区中引发更多的发现和互动。 我们用“庭院都市化”来概括我们的城市设计手法。 园区内的实验楼也由非常建筑设计。
