Hossam Zaki is the Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States and Chief of Staff (July 2016 to date). Zaki had served as the Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs from September 2015 until his election at the Arab League as ASG and Chief of Staff. He was Ambassador of Egypt to Brazil from 2012 to 2015.
