The Beef Shorthorn breed is soaring in popularity, driven by demand for high quality beef from low input systems, alongside the management gains of easy-care suckler cows that are milky and productive.

Known within the industry as ‘the great improver’, the Shorthorn has been influential in the developing other cattle breeds, with more than 40 different breeds of cattle now incorporating Shorthorn genetics.
