2017年10月27日 · A brigandine can also be, and was often, worn together with mail which enhances the protection. I haven't heard of cuirasses being worn with mail, not in Europe at least. Since a brigandine is plates riveted to fabric or leather, you might have to wash the outer part occasionally. I prefer brigandine for aesthetic reasons though.
