2024年10月18日 · I rule the Byzantine Empire. Kingdom of Bulgaria was my powerful ally, but then it's ruler died, and was replaced by a pagan one. Soon after, the Kingdom fragmented. Most of the former vassals became independent, and were pagans. One of the breakaway vassals was a Orthodox Duke, who wanted to become my vassal. Great!

But one must consider that Bulgaria copied the Byzantines at that time partly because it was ruled by them for ~180 years .

2021年3月17日 · Italy is gone. Hopefully I get enough war contribution to secure a good position against SU or Allies later on. As Portugal it was better to destroy Allies first (after Axis) and Comintern last. As Bulgaria it might be better to crush SU first and Allies after because the naval buildup is gonna be much slower than with Portugal.

Alternatively, if the war drags past 1454, you can enact strong duchies and then immediately integrate Athens (be sure to improve relations with them during the war).

CK3 Bulgaria in 867 inherited the faulty cut down map from CK2. Plovdiv (Philippopolis) was inside Bulgaria for a century at that Point and Beroe province (Zagore province) was inside BG borders since ca 700 AD. The Rhodope mountains provinces (Rhodope and Zherkovo) were also inside the borders, as was Philippi at the Aegean coast.

2020年10月15日 · I joined the Allies and formed Greater Greece. As a member of the Allies, I am at war with Germany and Italy etc. Bulgaria is in the Axis, but has not joined the war. Then out of the blue (presumably by the Bulgarian focus tree or some event) Central Macedonia is transferred to Bulgaria without any warning or event visible to me.
