The movie's main theme is about The World Grand Prix, an international racing competition featuring 3 races across the world. Despite the movie only showing very few parts of the Tokyo race, there is an extended version of it that lasts for 3 minutes. The extended version was found on January 3rd, 2018 by Dinoco Blue.

The Tokyo Race is the very first race of the World Grand Prix. It takes place in Tokyo, Japan, The Hometown of Shu Todoroki. This race involves 52 laps around the course. There are Dirt Sections, Tunnels & The Rainbow Bridge. In this wiki, You will see the Positions Of The Racers in every turn involving Starting Positions/Finishing.

After an error of Lightning McQueen, Francesco Bernoulli won the first race in Tokyo. At the second race in Porto Corsa, three other engines were blasted, those being of Carla Veloso, Nigel Gearsley and Shu Todoroki.
