When you're holding a Q knife you know you're holding a knife, a good, strong fairly large knife with a thick blade and yet gets razor sharp so easily and is actually pretty nimble for its size that I use it to do small stuff as well.

The Cattaraugus 225Q is is a 10 3/8″ fixed blade knife. They have leather washer handles and a high carbon steel blades. I think it's fairly universally accepted that most were issued to the Navy for opening crates.
