Columbiana is a proud Designated Alabama Main Street Community that seeks to bring businesses, jobs, dollars, and people to our charming downtown district. Anchored by the historic Shelby County Courthouse and the Shelby County Arts Center, Columbiana has so much to offer residents and visitors alike.

The annual Columbiana Street Fair Parade steps off at 6:15pm lead by the Columbiana American Legion Post 290 Color Guard. The Parade is organized by our very own Columbiana Fire Department Chief Rick Garrity has been at the helm since 2007 after taking over for Chief Charlie Flohr who had been Chief since 1976.

The Thursday, Friday, and Saturday after Labor Day finds Columbiana, Ohio, blocking off the main street through the village as food trucks, carnival rides and the “big white tent” rises above the asphalt signaling it is time for what many feel is the best street festival in the state earning it the moniker “The State Fair of Street Fairs.”
