2019年7月8日 · Since I know of existing wonderful harpsichord sample sets or modelling products, I planned to build a digital one of my own. There is only 1 modern digital harpsichord on the market, the Roland C-30. For the fact, beeing very expensive, it has only 1 keybed, only 2 harpsichord-sounds and a conventional small speaker system.

2019年12月24日 · Roland made a digital harpsichord (C-30) which simulates the plucking of the strings in the key movement. They also offer different tuning systems, schools and even dynamics. Bit expensive though as the product is over 10 years old.

2024年7月27日 · The C-30 unfortunately has been discontinued. There is no actual manufactured digital harpsichord any more, maybe precisely because of the rapidly developing software. I connected a computer to a FP-90X Roland and the organ sounded fine but the harpsichord had a delay that would definitely be a problem playing with an ensemble.

Now, I have only a Roland C-70 keyboard (that has the same action as the old Roland digital harpsichord). I have used that to play/record over 40 hours of harpsichord music, using many different sample sets. In one recording, I use pianoteg (some fortepiano), since a friend of mine has it, and ran my recorded file through it.

2018年10月7日 · The Roland C30 digital harpsichord is a great instrument that has a realistic harpsichord action and includes a celesta as well. It looks as a real instrument which is a plus. And has speakers. However it doesn't have harp sound.
