2020年6月22日 · Using Blackmagic Disk Speed Test, the difference between an HDD and an SSD using USB 3.0 is dramatic. I found an SSD to be roughly 7 times faster than a 7200RPM HDD. The HDD speed was in the 60-70MB/s range. The SSD was over 400MB/s. The test was repeated using different enclosures and different drives, but produced consistent results.

I use a network meter gadget on windows 7. It gives a lot of live informations (current download/upload speed, amount downloaded/uploaded this session and totally, etc..)

2020年11月30日 · These tools are used to test the full spindle. This is a logical vs physical thing. These tools are for the physical drive only. A mapped drive is not a drive. A mapped share name is not a drive. It's a pointer. If you are using real storage devices in your infrastructure, then you are only getting a slice of that drive, again, not a real drive.

I ran CrystalDiskMark and got the following results: SEQ 41 MB/s , 36 MB/s; RND 1.5 MB/s , 1.28 MB/s; I disconnected the drive and ran the same test from another PC and all numbers were nearly the same (within 15%).
