Eastern Sierra Campgrounds. The Eastern Sierra has many options for camping -- both in traditional campgrounds as well as on more primitive grounds such as national forests and BLM land. Many of the traditional campgrounds require a reservation well in advance, and most are closed during winter.

Easy access to fishing, a marina and boat rentals make June Lake Campground a favorite spot for both families and anglers. The facility sits in the eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains in close proximity to the Ansel Adams Wilderness, Yosemite National Park and Mono Lake.

The campground is adjacent to the clear, cold and cascading Rock Creek, which originates in the John Muir Wilderness and runs for 22 miles through the bottom of Rock Creek Canyon. The area is home to abundant wildlife, including black bear, mountain lions, mule deer, pine marten, pika and many species of fish and birds.

Come stay and play in the gorgeous Eastern Sierra Mountains! Right outside our backyard is easy access to South Lake, Lake Sabrina, hiking trails, creeks, and endless adventures. We offer excellent fishing ON-SITE along our creek as well as upstream and downstream.

Coldwater Campground is located high in the eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains near the town of Mammoth Lakes, California. The surrounding national forest provides many opportunities for family fun, outdoor recreation and relaxation. Hiking, fishing, road cycling and picnicking are just some of the favorite activities available to campers.

From day hiking to alpine lakes and volcanic features in the summer, to snowmobiling and cross-country skiing in the winter, there is something for everyone! Spectacular views from Minaret Vista survey this canyon full of recreational opportunities.

Fossil Falls Campground is located in along California Highway 395 at the base of the eastern Sierra Nevada mountains. Fossil Falls Campground contains 11 first-come-first-serve campsites with drinking water, restroom, tables and fire rings. RV sites are available and well suited for medium-sized RVs.
