By the way, I don't think I've said above but just in case its relevant this is a clean install of Windows 10 Home 64 bit. Heres a screen shot of the file properties. I don't see anything saying "valid".

I did the following: Right click and selected properties. clicked the compatibility tab. selected run as Win 7. apply and selected ok. After going through this process and clicking on the app I get the message "Can't run on this PC".

Place a check mark next to Run this program in Compatibility mode and select the operating system accordingly from the drop down list. Let the driver to install and then check the functionality.
