2022年9月15日 · When I host the jellyfin server and open jellyfin from my PC I use my PCs IP address and not the tailscale one. Tailscale is used only to enable others users to connect that are not on my network. For me personally, I connect to jellyfin using my IP address. Same with my phone since they are on the same network.

My set up (as described in guide) has been working very well for me and my friends and I hadn't seen similar guides when I set this up for myself, so I thought I'd write it up and share with the community.

2021年1月10日 · Jellyfin is not showing up in my Tailscale at all. I am unsure what you mean. Any device on which you installed Jellyfin should show in your Tailscale dashboard. The web interface will show running services, including Jellyfin at port 8096 (by default).
