2011年7月5日 · The Ledges is a clothing optional swimming area on Lake Whitingham, in the town of Wilmington VT. It consists of a long stretch of wooded shoreline, about 1/2 mile worth, with multiple large outcroppings of ledge. When the water is lower, there is a sandy flat area too.

The Ledges. On Harriman Reservoir there are 2 established beach swimming places, but also a place called "The Ledges". This is a well-known, traditional clothing-optional place. A large sandy beach and big, flat rocks for sunbathing at the water's edge (size of beach may be diminished when water level in reservoir is high.) Some rocks to jump from.

2021年7月18日 · We plan to spend a majority of our time at The Ledges, but are also interested in visiting other clothing-free swimming holes in VT. I know of: I would have also included The Punchbowl, but we actually drove past there last Sunday and it has big closed, no parking, and no trespassing signs posted so it seems like it's closed for this year as well.

I will be up North for awhile and recall someone telling me that "The Ledges" was a great place for sunbathing. Is it still? Can anyone tell me more about it, how to get there?

The Ledges, named for its large stone outcroppings, is a small section of the undeveloped 28-mile public recreational shoreline of Harriman Reservoir near Wilmington, Vermont.
