Bangor Pier is a North Wales fishing venue that sits across the Menai Strait. The pier allows anglers to reach a larger area of waters than you could by casting from the shore. The structure of the pier also forms its own habitat allowing you to catch a larger variety of fish (mini species).

You will find a pier or jetty at almost every coastal area in north Wales,as well as some hopeful anglers fishing on the end of them. Welsh piers and jettys do provide easy access to deeper water that can give some very good results.
