2020年7月17日 · Rogue waves can come from a different direction than the prevailing swell. A ship is MUCH more capable of handling a wave if they're properly "aimed". So even a small rogue wave can be super dangerous. But then add to that the fact that rogue waves can be giant, bigger than any swell, and yeah rogue waves are super scary.

"Rogue wave" is a term of art that means something specific. I don't have a citation for an article I recall reading that talks about the related oceanography and our increased understanding of the incidence of rogue waves over the last few decades with the increased availability of weather satellites with radar imagery.

2023年3月11日 · Big fan of Rogue Wave here. The shipping times to the US can be as quick or quicker than getting coffee from the USA. That said, perhaps luck is not on my side, but I have had several bags of Rogue Wave coffee roasted 10 days before the shipping day before.
