The old school method for catching snakes in the yard is a crawdad trap with a chicken egg in it. Snake goes inside, swallows the egg and can’t get out again until the egg is digested.

2013年11月29日 · Since then I have seen probably over a dozen and my dogs have seen probably 5 or 6. Don't worry about your fishing trip at all. When my dogs have encountered rattlers they get pretty "jumpy" and keep their distance. Snakes' rattling is a natural warning signal and even domesticated dogs know what it means and will "normally" keep a safe distance.

Taken few more steps.. BuZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... Oh crap.. Looked back.. Sure enough, Rattle snake was all curled up behind a small grass patch. 6 inch dia coil!!. Lucky Me!!..

Pretty sure some of the outfitters transport hunters but I could be wrong because I believe there might be special permits involved. I was just on a guided trip and there’s no way I would run that water. Feel safer crossing the Columbia by 10 fold.
