2023年10月18日 · The other 1% stay off the roads. 1st winter in MN with a 2023 2wd sr tundra I swapped the factory tires for snow flake rated Falken wildpeaks. The braking and handling were great. Some tire spinning taking off. Biggest snow of the year I didn’t get stuck but it was deep enough you had to keep momentum (1ft overnight).

2024年3月31日 · Often through some pretty bad lake effect snow. So it would be nice to get something like the Nokian Hallapeliitta’s or a similar excellent snow tire for those snow driving days. We also tow sleds to a remote cabin a 14 hour drive north of me. Much of which is highway, but it always gets snow covered for the last two hours.

2019年3月5日 · Winter tires have much much better grip on snow, which isn’t a big deal. Regular tires are fine in snow if you drive for the conditions. Ice is a big deal. Especially black ice. Studded Nokians on my tundra. Just took them off yesterday.

2019年3月16日 · Sensors: Don't like them and don't care for them. I live in a forest and little leaves and/or twigs set them off along with emergency brakes. Also, winter (snow and ice) makes my dash light up like a Christmas tree which I also don't like. Butt warmers: Wife likes them. I don't care for them. Seats: Comfortable.

2016年2月24日 · I never needed chains with a 4WD up in Lake Tahoe. Then I moved to the Portland Metro area of Oregon. The snow here is wet and packs into your tread. Also, when we have snow, there is always a ton of ice to go along with it.

2021年5月8日 · I had a set of LTX M+S on my Tacoma. Great wet traction, good snow traction, went off roading in the deep sand of the NC Outer Banks beaches, lasted 70,000 miles. I may not try to duplicate those beach runs in the Tundra, however, with stock sized tires because they are not any wider than those on my Tacoma, that weighed a lot less.
