After checking everything and taking everyone's advice (I learned a lot) I purchased two Trophy 1200 coils and fitted them. They looked a little smaller but they made the bike act normal again (for a while).

2018年7月2日 · After about 180000km so far on Speed Triple 955i, Daytona 955i, Tiger 1050, and many more km on lesser 1, 2, 3, and 4 cylinder bikes, I agree with Sussurf: the valve clearances reduce with engine hours.

2011年12月31日 · Daytona mods I paid $200 for the exhaust on Ebay and $100 for he Suzuki carbs. Same as Triumph but 38mm.The kits for the carbs was about $100 and the labor was about $700. There was other stuff done too. The oil was a changed (unnecessarily) and the valves adjusted. I just looked at the invoice.

2021年1月6日 · According to my information, Triumph Part # T2020465, that cheefkeef mentioned above, is a kit that includes coated pistons & seals for a 2008 Daytona 675. You need one kit for each caliper. As mentioned in an earlier post, the whole kit of pistons and seals was cheaper than just buying the seals for my Sprint.

2009年4月27日 · The Trident's stand is about 10" from the pivot point to the foot by my rough estimate, and the other 9.5" (I guess that makes sense from a geometry perspective) If you inadvertently fit a center stand for an 18" rear Triumph on a 17" Daytona 1200, you'll probably need to begin sourcing a truss soon.
