Things have settled down quite a bit job and family wise, so I reached out to a readmission counselor to see about getting back in. As the title suggests, I'm curious why you guys/gals chose the degree path you did at WGU.

2020年11月4日 · This is my WGU journey. Overall, I really enjoyed the WGU experience. Being able to complete work at my own pace and obviously the competent model really suited me well. There were several times during my term that I gave up and said I was done with this bullshit, but every time woke up the next day ready to get back at it.

People are always looking for shortcuts along the way, and because WGU is so different compared to the majority of online degree programs, there is of course "experts" who are trying to sell you on the fastest way to the B.S. via WGU, and constantly making Youtube videos with strategies and such to burn through the material.

2022年5月8日 · The WGU in-house classes are not great though, I personally would say it's just a way to get a 4-year degree as most if not all of the learning material can be found already online and the cert-based classes are the only ones I found any good in general.

2018年8月22日 · The grass isn't necessarily greener in B&M. A student's individual networking and education needs should dictate their decision. If someone is an aspiring accountant who already does internships in the field, and wants a cheap degree, then WGU is an option to consider. If they want to get into a Big 4 firm right out of school, then WGU won't work.

2021年8月1日 · I cannot stress this enough, take all your courses at WGU. FOR REFERENCE: I was 24 at the time of completing the degree. Before WGU, I was a student at a brick and mortar studying Biochemistry. I transferred solely because I wanted to go into software development, knew I needed a degree, and knew I could finish this degree in one term. 2.)
