The AIAS channel had a lot of podcasts with various creators in the industry where would Ted Price (and other industry folks) would interview eachother. 2023年12月19日 · Absolutely hate it for domineering blockbuster films, and I absolutely am going to hate it doubly so for video games. Especially considering Insomniac and their original IPs are some of my favorites in the business and had been forever. Oh well, it's going to make them lots of money which is all that matters in this world to most people.

Ever since then there's been a steady march towards increasing budgets, usually pushed by a combination of massive open worlds and cutting edge production values. The sense that games have no choice but to compete with hollywood and the presentation of motion pictures.

2023年5月28日 · Insomniac seems content to release really excellent games without needing to redefine the genre every time. And that's great! Don't get me wrong, I love my genre-defining titles from the Naughty Dogs and the Rockstars and the CDPRs of the world, but it's great to have studios like Insomniac putting out high-quality titles at a good pace as well.

2023年12月22日 · This whole situation sucks so much. I can't imagine how miserable Insom's staff must feel right now. I hope they're able to take a little time off for the holidays and reset and attack next year renewed.

2023年12月19日 · No wonder they didn't mind selling to Sony at a not-super-high price. They really needed the stability. Everything they worked on with other publishers was more or less a financial disaster. The Oculus games, Song of the Deep, Fuse and Sunset Overdrive were all cost more money than they made back. Often significantly so.
