Nah, Troy is fine. I would recommend the Play, Watch, Listen podcast by Alanah Pearce featuring Troy Baker, Mike Bithell and Austin Wintory. It's really fun listen to listen to and Troy's tendency to go off on a tangent in any discussion is well known and leads to hilarious moments.

Troy Baker was constantly trying to get deep, thoughtful and analytical about the Last of Us during that playthrough, whereas Nolan North just refused to be serious at any point and just wanted to crack jokes. Neither one's in the wrong they were just in it for different things.

4 天之前 · Troy's confession that he almost refused to do it when offered because he thought he wouldn't be any good is almost baffling. He really nailed it. Once or twice there was a line that didn't sound perfect, but generally speaking I don't think I could even distinguish his performance from Harrison in a blind test.

The CR gang is all very close with other voice actors like Troy Baker, so let's leave it to them to decide who would be a good fit as guest. 2023年11月13日 · Just a side comment about the show and not related to the question. I made the connection of Rick and Rick Primes story to Ellie and Abby's story in TLOU it's very sad. Seeing Troy Baker as Guest Starring was trippy. I'm reading the comments here, and it's crazy knowing he's actually voiced a couple of side characters in the show.

2020年5月20日 · Troy is a little bitch. A little ass kissing schmuck that doesn't have the balls to stand up for his character and the masterpiece the 1st game was, so now all of his talking is to convince people to buy the game so he can get paid.

Troy Baker is a good voice actor that got type cast into pretty samey roles for a while. Dude’s got chops, honestly it’s cool for him to almost dip back into obscurity and not be headlining all the marketing. Him and Nolan North both, although I’m not as sure on what North’s been up to lately.

What was supposed to be the ‘definitive’ playthrough of the game turned into the ‘Troy Baker Podcast’ in which he took breaks to ignore Nolan when he asked for help, belittle Nolan (often with the help of his guest) when he made mistakes, repeatedly give bad info/control recommendations that would take 5 seconds of research to do right ...
