WFP is the largest humanitarian organization implementing school- meals programmes worldwide, with over 50 years’ experience in this area. In 2023, WFP transferred food to over 100 million people.

Every year, WFP assists millions of people left displaced, homeless or deprived of basic resources by conflict, climate-related disasters, pandemics or other catastrophic events. We provide emergency relief to people whose lives and/or livelihoods are under threat, including through food and cash.

2024年12月10日 · WFP needs US$16.9 billion to address the humanitarian needs of 123 million vulnerable people in 2025, as detailed in the WFP 2025 Global Outlook. The first WFP trucks in many months reach famine-struck Zamzam camp in Sudan, carrying life-saving food for over 10,000 displaced people.
