This popular park in northwest Wisconsin features spectacular views of Willow Falls and the Willow River Gorge. Prairie remnants, miles of scenic hiking trails, family and group campgrounds, lakeside picnic areas and a nature center are all found within 2,800 acres of rolling countryside.

Willow River's campground, on the southern shore of Little Falls Lake, is very popular and has one of the highest occupancy rates in the Wisconsin State Park System. The park staff maintains and inspects each designated campground area.

Willow River State Park is a 2,891-acre (1,170 ha) Wisconsin state park located five miles (8 km) north of Hudson. The centerpiece of the park is Willow Falls, a powerful cascade in a 200-foot (61 m) deep gorge.

A class 2 trout stream, sandy beach, prairie remnants and a nature center are featured on 2,891 acres of rolling countryside. Spectacular views of the historic Willow Falls and the Willow River Gorge. Pets are welcome in Wisconsin State Parks but must be on a leash and under control at all times. Certain areas may be off limits to pets.

Willow River State Park is located on the Wisconsin side of the St. Croix border. It is open year round and offers hiking trails, camping, lake activities, and a wonderful waterfall at Willow Falls. Once you have purchased your pass, there is a parking lot off of County Road A that will be the most direct route to the waterfall.

2021年7月21日 · There’s beautiful hiking in Willow River State Park, across the St. Croix River into Wisconsin. Just a half hour from downtown Saint Paul, Willow River is super accessible and well worth either a half-day trip, a full-day trip, or even a few days at one of the campgrounds.
