Oregon State Hospital (OSH) provides patient-centered, psychiatric treatment for adults from throughout the state who need hospital-level care. Oregon State Hospital has earned The Joint Commission's gold seal of approval for hospital, behavioral health care and laboratory services.

Services include psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as community outreach and peer support. With two campuses, one in Salem and one in Junction City, Oregon State Hospital serves more than 1,500 people per year and employs more than 2,000 staff.

The Oregon State Hospital (originally called the Oregon State Insane Asylum until 1913) is Oregon’s oldest continuing institution for mental health treatment.
