Remembering the Legendary "Possum" George Jones

It’s been a busy few days in the Valley, with autumn crutching for the sheep starting this week. Crutching is when the wool from around bottoms and faces is trimmed to stay clean and tidy. Rather than just crutching, Lucas now gets a full autumn shear, as his wool can get thick over a full year and his neck rolls tricky to clip. He was in great hands with Brad @PerthHillsShearing doing a fantastic job with no injuries, even though his face says ‘please send help!’ 😆 #possumvalleyanimalsanctuary

Baby Possum Rescue

Possum rescue. This is an industrial waste overflow pond at a private food processor. The pond is lined with a thick plastic lining that is impossible to climb out of. I would visit this facility several.times a week just to check if anything needed a lift out. It was terribly dangerous, even I can't climb out without a line. I've pulled turtles, duckling, mice, groundhogs out of this place and sometimes I was too late. This guy has a happy story. | Ace Humane Wildlife Removal & Pest Control
