This garden has 4 beds, each 4’x8’. We put a trellis on the north side of each bed and set the trellises in the front beds 2’ lower to make sure the beds in back got plenty of sun. This much vertical growing space has let us pack in a ton of crops. The back beds have trellised tomatoes (6 per bed), with beets, carrots, basil, and cilantro down below. The front beds have trellised pole beans, eggplant, peppers, cucumbers, and tomatillos. They have broccoli, lettuce, thyme, and oregano down below.
